Telemark was the arena for some of the most important sabotage actions of World War II. Here is the whole story.
The Heavy Water Sabotage
Operation Gunnerside (February 1943) blew up the heavy water plant at Vemork. Later, another sabotage sank the DF Hydro with its heavy water cargo on Tinnsjø (February 1944).
